Argo Casino Review
ArgoCasino is an online casino and sportsbook that accepts a wide range of fiat currency payment systems, as well as bitcoin, which is accepted as a deposit method only. The online casino has a variety of the most popular games, and the sportsbook features both static and live betting on all of the major sports.
ArgoCasino went online in 2014, is licensed in Curacao, and welcomes players from much of the world, but not the USA or UK. The casino is presented in a choice of eight languages.
Valuations at the casino are based primarily on the euro (EUR).
BTC / Crypto Deposits and Withdrawals
Bitcoin is accepted for deposits only at this casino. If you deposit with bitcoin and wish to withdraw, you will have to revert to Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Skrill or Neteller systems. They are also among the payment systems accepted for deposits.
The fiat currencies they acknowledge are EUR, SEK, RUB and PLN.
Registration involves clicking on the Join Now button at the top of the screen and providing the information in the fields. They include your name, address, email address and phone number, and you create a user name and password. You will be emailed confirmation note that you must respond to for activation of your account. Once you have done that, you are ready to deposit and play.
When you are signed in, you can deposit by going to the My Account section and clicking on Deposit. You then select bitcoin as your payment method, and a bitcoin address should come up. When you copy that address into your personal wallet and designate an amount, your ArgoCasino account should be funded within seconds in the amount you designate as your currency.
The deposit limits vary, but they should be indicated with your payment system.
If you deposit with bitcoin, you’ll have to use one of the payment systems listed above to withdraw money. Once you have your withdrawal method, you can find the Withdraw button on your account page. Click that and you will have to fill in some details, including key card or ID numbers. That done, you just fill in an amount and hit Confirm.
ArgoCasino does not guarantee speed with its withdrawal process, but it is safe to say that larger amounts will take longer and possibly extra identification verification.
The maximum amount you may withdraw is the equivalent of €1,500 per day, €3,000 per week or €9,000 per month. Minimum amounts are listed with the payment system.
Before you try to withdraw money, make sure you have met any bonus requirements you may have agreed to.
Argo Casino Bonuses and Rewards
The casino has a series of bonuses for slots players, starting with a 100% match of up to €200 on your first deposit.
There are also several regular bonuses for many types of players, including a 50% match of up to €200 for off-hour players who deposit between midnight and 5 a.m. GMT. Look for a 25% match on weekends, a 30% weekly reload bonus, and a 15% cashback reward on losses, as well.
The bonuses require you to wager 40 times the bonus amount in order to withdraw money, and you usually have 14 days to complete the requirements.
You can deposit as little as €10 worth to qualify for the bonuses, and the maximum bet for bonuses is €15 per play, or its equivalent.
ArgoCasino has a tiered loyalty points program in which points can be converted to cash, with the conversion rate increasing as you move into higher tiers. You must wager €50 worth to earn each point.
There is a little prize package icon at the top of ArgoCasino’s main page that will take you to details of each of these bonuses and rewards. Be sure to click on Terms and Conditions of each program to get the finer details of the requirements.
Casino Games and Software
ArgoCasino has more than 150 games from top software makers, including Betsoft, NetEnt, Micrograming and Endorphina. You can play a “demo” version of most of the games, even without registering. We found that most games loaded within a minute and played with few stalls. And there is usually a Help section or payout board to explain how the game works.
The games are situated in generalised categories that are redundant in many cases. For instance, in the Casual Games category you can find all sorts of games, including table games and slots, as well as scratch cards.
You can sort out games by software provider, but we did not see an area to search for games by title. So, even though the search can be confusing, you can find something to suit you.
The popular slots titles we noticed among the dozens of selections include Stampede, Playboy and Satoshi’s Secret. There is an entire Retro section with 3-wheel slots that feature plenty of fruits and 7s games. But you can also find more complex games with a variety of themes and multiple paylines.
We did not see any games labeled jackpot, but the usual suspects are there, including Mr. Vegas and others. We also noticed a slots tournament that offered 5,000 loyalty points in prizes.
The Table Games section includes various versions of single- and multi-deck blackjack, both European and American versions of roulette, as well as other card games, such as baccarat, Pai Gow, Red Dog and Pontoon.
You can also find plenty of video poker games with the popular versions like Deuces Wild, Joker Poker and Jacks or Better. The bonus and double bonus versions are available, too.
There is a Live Casino section with 10 tables of blackjack and roulette.
If you like to play on the go, ArgoCasino for mobile devices offers a good selection of games, mostly card games such as blackjack and casino pokers. There’s also a cribbage game on board. Click on Mobile Version to get a preview. To get to the site with your iPhone, Android or other mobile device, you simply direct your browser to argocasino.com and click on a game to play. Make sure your Flash or other instant play software is updated, and give the games a demo try before playing for real money.
Provably Fair Games
We saw no mention of provably fair games on the site. However, most of ArgoCasino’s software providers routinely test their games for fairness and post the RTP results. Also, their Curacao license requires third-party game testing.
The ArgoCasino FAQ section covers the basics, so if you have more specific questions or inquiries, they give you a few other options. One is the Live Chat section, which we discovered to be prompt and helpful. You can also pose a question by emailing [email protected], or get help through their international phone number, posted in the FAQ section.
ArgoCasino is missing out on major markets by excluding players from the USA and UK. And though they accept bitcoin deposits, it is not too convenient or logical for bitcoin players to deposit and then have to switch to a conventional payment system to collect.
We like the game selection here, and for fiat currency players who have access and like to wager on sports, ArgoCasino is a good place to check out. But most bitcoin gamblers could do better.
