BitDice Casino Review
BitDice Casino is a cryptocurrency gambling operation that has more than 40 games and works with four virtual currencies including bitcoin. They feature a bitcoin faucet, have a friends referral program and offer an investment plan.
Established in 2014, BitDice is licensed in Costa Rica, and as an anonymous registration casino, accepts players worldwide, including the US, UK, Australia and Canada.
BTC / Crypto Deposits and Withdrawals
In addition to bitcoin (BTC), BitDice accepts deposits in Ethereum (ETH), litecoin (LTC), and dogecoin (DOGE). When we were visiting, the site mentioned plans for accepting some bank cards, so you can look for fiat currencies over the horizon.
But first, registering with the casino is an email verification process with a 2-factor authorization option. At the BitDice main page, you click on Get In and you will be prompted to provide an email address, and create a username and password. You will get a confirmation email that you have to respond to for your registration to be activated.
To deposit, just sign in and click on the BTC figure by your username. You will see in the prompt that bitcoin is set as your currency, but you have options if you want to change it to one of the other cryptocurrencies. You will then get a prompt with a QR code and area to click on to create the unique BitDice Casino bitcoin address. That done, simply copy the address over to your personal wallet, fill in an amount and send. Your casino account will be credited instantly.
No deposit limits are listed at the site, but minimum bets start at .0001 BTC.
On the same dropdown for deposits there is Cashout button for withdrawals. Just click on that and fill in your bitcoin address and an amount. When you cash out, the money should reach your wallet within minutes. Only the largest amounts take longer.
No minimum or maximum withdrawal amount is listed.
BitDice Bonuses and Rewards
BitDice doesn’t award the customary bonuses as with many online casinos. Instead they offer a couple of promotions that reward you as you wager. They convert your bitcoin into points, or BitDice Tokens, for these offers, and of course you can later cash in the tokens.
Most of the rewards promotions are dependent on a 15-teir points system that moves you up on a BitDice User Level ladder the more you bet. When you bet your first 0.1 BTC, you are Level 1; 1 BTC in wagers gets you to Level 2, and so on.
One promotion is called Loss Back, which gives you cash back on losses. Level 1 players get back .007% of the tokens they lose and that percentage increases as you move up the ladder.
Then there is Bet Back, which simply rewards you a percentage of your wagers, starting at .003% at Level 1.
They also have a Daily Treasure Chest, an unknown amount of BitDice Tokens that depend on your level. You can claim it every day.
You also have a chance at a jackpot in their dice game. If you hit 7s across – 77.7777 – you win 90% of the set jackpot total, if your wager is 0.01 BTC or more. If your wager is below that, the casino has a formula that determines your winnings.
You can find that formula and details of all of the offers in the site’s Bonus menu at the bottom of the main page.
Casino Games and Software
When we were visiting BitDice, their selection of games was limited, but they promised growth. They had dice, blackjack and more than 40 slots games. We noticed their plans to add roulette and more slots games. You can play some games for free, even without signing up. With others, you have to sign up and deposit to play, but you have a bitcoin faucet at your disposal.
The blackjack and dice games are from BitDice’s own software, while Endorphina powers the slots. The blackjack and dice games load play fast, while the slots are a little slower to load, but play nicely when you get them up.
The dice game is a routine percentage based game.
The blackjack game offers a bet range of .0001 BTC to 1 BTC, pays 3-2, and you can split and double down on splits.
The larger selection of slots features a variety of themes and payline choices in both the 3- and 5-reel varieties. Satoshi’s Secret, Voodoo, and Fresh Fruits were among the popular titles we noticed.
Of course there’s the big Jackpot game we described above.
BitDice did not have a mobile app when we checked, but if you like casino for mobile, you can easily get the site up via the browser on your device, by going to bitdice.me. If your Android, iPhone, iPad or other mobile device has updated software, you should have no problem running any of the BitDice games.
There are no live dealer games.
Provably Fair Games
BitDice Casino has a provably fair tool on the dice and blackjack games, and the Help > Technical section nicely explains in detail how they work.
The BitDice website also boasts a house edge of around 1%, and with the rewards figured in, they say the house edge is even less. We could not verify that figure, but BitDice is likely as fair as any casino.
The FAQ in the Help section of BitDice Support is more thorough than most. But if you can’t find an answer there or you have a complaint, they have a Contact area that promises an email response. The option is to simply email them at [email protected]. We saw no phone number support or fast chat.
BitDice Casino bills itself as a pacesetter in virtual currency gambling, and they seem to know their bitcoin stuff. Plus they appear to be improving all the time.
We certainly like the slick appearance of the site and the fact that there’s a chat box for people who like to gab with other players. We didn’t play long enough to test their rewards, but at least you don’t have to hustle to make bonus requirements.
BitDice gets plenty of praise in forums, and we concur with the input. This is a site bitcoin players would find well worth their time.
