CryptoBetfair Casino Review
CryptoBetFair is an online casino that hosts three basic provably fair games and accepts multiple virtual currency deposits including bitcoin.
This casino has been open since 2014 and welcomes players from the USA, UK and around the world. There is no indication of a license.
Deposits and Withdrawals
CryptoBetFair accommodates eight virtual currencies including top currencies, bitcoin (BTC), litecoin (LTC), dogecoin (DOGE) and others.
They make registering a simple process. In fact, registration at CryptoBetFair is the easiest we’ve seen anywhere. You just make up a username and password, answer a simple security question and you are in. You don’t even have to give them your email, which is not only another feature in insuring anonymity, but another plus if you don’t like regular promotions in your inbox.
When you are signed up and signed in, the bitcoin deposits are a breeze, too. At the top of the page, you will see a menu of virtual coins. Click on Bitcoin and you will get a Deposit/Withdraw option at the top of a popup. Click on Deposit and you will be asked to generate a unique bitcoin address to copy into your wallet. That done, you just plug in an amount and send the money. You should be ready to play within seconds.
CryptoBetFair sets a minimum deposit level of .0005 BTC, but does not stipulate a maximum deposit.
You can withdraw money from the casino by clicking on the Withdraw option in the bitcoin area. You will get a form for an amount you wish to take out, and a space for your personal BTC address. Fill those in and click Withdraw at the bottom. The money should arrive in your wallet in minutes.
CryptoBetFair posts no minimum or maximum withdrawal limits, but they discourage small amounts by tacking a .0002 BTC fee on all cashouts.
Bonuses and Special Promotions
CryptoBetFair did not offer any conventional deposit bonuses while we were visiting, though bonuses are mentioned in their Terms of Service. The closest thing to a bonus we saw is a referral plan in which you can collect 10% of losses by people you send to the site. It is a version of an affiliate program, and you can find details in the Affiliate section at the bottom of the site’s pages.
They do have some perks you don’t see at many casinos. CryptoBetFair takes a market approach to its site by offering things like bitcoin price indexes and cryptocurrency volume listings, updated each day.
They are also social oriented, with a chat area on each page.
Games at CryptoBetFair Casino
CryptoBetFair has three games, all standard for bitcoin players, all designed and created in house and all provably fair. While we were there they were promising a fourth game “coming soon.”
Their dice game is customary for these sites, allowing you to adjust the bet size and chance percentage, with a readout on payout and profit potential. You then click on Roll Hi or Roll Lo for the outcome.
Then they have a game called WheelSpin, which is a wheel with 16 stops, with 3x the wager being the big winner. You have fast spin and auto spin options as well as double, half, and max bet buttons.
Coindrop is a Plinko-type game that offers a big winner of 3x the wager.
The nature of these games should be amenable to mobile device play. But all iPhone, Android and other mobile devices and their connections are not created equal. You should try going to cryptobetfair.com via your browser and trying out the site.
Provably Fair Games
As the name indicates, all of the games at CryptoBetFair are provably fair. At the bottom of the pages you will find a Provably Fair section with details of how their fairness verification works. The verification device is standard, with seeds and formulas for each game. There is also a bet verifier with manual, automated and bulk modes.
The dice, wheel and Plinko type games generally produce a return to player (RTP) rating of 98% or better.
The simplicity of this site doesn’t require a whole lot of explanation, and CryptoBetFair doesn’t offer a whole lot of avenues for getting answers or posing problems. Clicking on Support at the bottom of a page, gets you a form that will send you to an in house chatbox. Or you can go to the Lounge chat and maybe glean useful information there.
But there is no FAQ, as such, and there are no phone number support or standard message forms.
This is a pretty standard crypto-casino but with much more than the bitcoin option of depositing and withdrawing. We like the simple registration process that makes it so easy to get in and get going.
The limitation of games choices holds it back, though it is simple in terms of proving fairness.
If you are into the types of sites with a few basic games, CryptoBetFair is as good as any bitcoin gambling site we have come across.
