Slotastic Casino is a site with a mixed selection of casino games as well as slots. The casino accommodates bitcoin and a variety of major fiat currency payment systems. They use the dollar (USD) as their basic currency value.
Open since 2009, Slotastic welcomes players from around the globe, including the USA. The casino indicates no license – don’t be fooled by some other sites that claim they have licensing in Curacao, as these claims seem to be very old and outdated. If Slotastic was currently licensed they would almost certainly post that on their website. This in itself doesn’t mean they aren’t to be trusted, but it is certainly a missing piece towards building that trust.
BTC / Crypto Deposits and Withdrawals
In addition to accepting bitcoin, Slotastic Casino accepts fiat currency deposits through MasterCard and a number of e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill and Ecopayz.
Registration at Slotastic is a multi-step process that involves providing your name, address, phone number, email and creating a username and password. If you want to go ahead and deposit, you can simply go to Banking on the main page, and click on Deposit on your preferred payment method, and it will take you through the registration process.
When you are already registered, go to your account’s Cashier section, choose bitcoin and click on Deposit. You will get a bitcoin address to copy into your personal wallet. Fill in an amount, send and you will be seconds away from playing casino games for real money.
The minimum deposit is $25 worth of bitcoin, and no maximum amount is listed. Slotastic will charge no fee, but you should check with your wallet provider to see if there is a fee there.
You can withdraw funds with third party systems, check, or bank wire transfer, as well as bitcoin. BTC players should go to Payout, click on bitcoin, put in your bitcoin address and click Payout. You can withdraw as little as $180 worth or as much as $2,500 worth, and the transaction should process within minutes with no fee from the casino.
Before you withdraw, be aware of your bonus qualifying situation.
Slotastic Bonuses and Rewards
Any time you deposit, you should check out the bonuses, because they come with bonus codes you must plug in.
The welcome bonus (code: WINTASTIC) is a 150% deposit match for up to $200. It is for slots and keno only, and it comes with a wagering requirement of 30 times the deposit plus the bonus. For instance, if you deposit $100 worth of bitcoin, Slotastic adds another $150 to give you a balance of $250. You then have to wager a total of $7,500 (30 x 250 = 7,500) to be able to withdraw money.
While we were visiting Slotastic there were also bonuses for specific games that offered free spins. The winnings from the free spins carry a 60x rollover.
You can also look for daily and weekly deposit bonus offers, and other cash back offers that run most of the time.
Make sure to read the Terms & Conditions to get other details on bonus rules. We found a list of countries where players are prohibited from participating in bonuses.
Slotastic also has a rewards program with VIP levels, but they don’t make clear how to make VIP. Nevertheless, there are three VIP levels, each coming with an assortment of specials.
They do explain that each $10 worth of wagering gets you 1 point, and that 100 points is worth $1 in redemption value.
Games and Software
This casino has a full lineup of lively games from RealTime Gaming, a stalwart in the online gaming industry since the 1990s.
Of course slots make up the majority of the games; they had around 150 up and running when we were there. With those numbers you can expect a variety of themes, both 3- and 5-reel slots, and plenty of payline variations. RealTime has lots of popular titles, such as Food Fight, Caesar’s Empire and White Rhino.
We saw 10 jackpot slots, including Aztec’s Millions and Cleopatra’s Gold. But there are also some card games that have jackpot angles. Slotastic promises a total prize pool of over $5 million.
Their table games include baccarat, Pai Gow and Red Dog as well as versions of blackjack and roulette. More roulette games, including French and European, are under their Specialty Games category, along with craps. Also look there for keno, bingo and Sic Bo.
The Slotastic video poker collection has all of the favorites – Deuces Wild, Jacks or Better, and joker games.
They do not offer live dealer games.
Slotastic promotes their mobile casino with a free Android app that gets you more than 50 games. You can also direct your iPhone or iPad browser to slotastic.com and instant play many of their games. But if you want to go that route, you should try it out before deciding; our attempts brought oversized pages and tough navigation.
Provably Fair Games
Slotastic makes no mention of provably fair games, though RealTime Gaming is one of the makers that tests games regularly for fairness. We could find no major fairness complaints in forums.
A little question mark button on the main page takes you to an FAQ section with several categories of good information.
There is also a chat bubble if you need instant answers, but you have to be a registered member to get a response.
This casino has been around for a while and has made an effort to keep customers by redesigning the site as late as 2018. The result is a nice looking, well organized destination. In fact, we are surprised an outfit like this carries no license.
We trust RealTime, but it would help bitcoin players to have a free play mode and a provably fair widget to go with at least some games.
All told, we will still suggest bitcoin players take a close look at Slotastic Casino.
