Slots of Vegas Review
Slots of Vegas is an online bitcoin casino with a complete lineup of games available in both download and instant play versions.
The casino offers major transaction methods, including fiat currency through credit cards, as well as Neteller, and virtual currency via bitcoin.
Established in 2004, Slots of Vegas is open to players worldwide, including the USA. The dollar (USD) is the basic currency at the casino, but you can deposit in other currencies for conversion at current exchange rates.
The casino lists no licensing entity.
Slots of Vegas BTC / Crypto Deposits & Withdrawals
In addition to accepting bitcoin, Slots of Vegas Casino works with fiat currencies through Visa and MasterCard as well as the e-wallet, Neteller.
But to get into the action, you first have to create an account. To download the casino, you go through Getting Started at the top of the site’s main page, and you will get instructions. But you don’t have to go through all of that for instant play. For that, just click on a game and you will be prompted to create an account. That is a full disclosure process in which you give them your name, address, phone number, email, and create a username and password.
After you have gone through that, you will be ready to deposit your bitcoin.
When you are signed up and signed in, depositing in bitcoin is simple. Go to the Cashier section and you will see the payment options for depositing. Choose bitcoin and you will be given the casino’s bitcoin address to copy and plug into your personal bitcoin wallet. That done, just indicate an amount and send. You’ll be ready to play for real money in seconds.
We saw no maximum or minimum deposit limits.
There is also an option to withdraw, in your account’s Cashier section. Just choose BTC and plug in your bitcoin address with an amount you wish to take out. The delivery to your personal wallet should take only minutes, though Slots of Vegas makes no guarantees.
The site promises an upper limit of $2,000 for withdrawals, but they may go higher for BTC withdrawals.
Be aware of your bonus requirement situation before you withdraw.
Slots of Vegas Bonuses and Rewards
The Slots of Vegas bonuses change from time to time, each coming with a special bonus code. The ones we saw when we visited were more than appealing. One welcome bonus is match of 250% for up to $2,500 worth of bitcoin (Code: NEW250), but the playthrough wagering requirement is an unheard of 5 times the deposit plus the bonus amount. For most casinos, the betting requirement is upwards of 25x. You can deposit as little as $30 worth, and when you have reached the requirement, you can withdraw as much as your original balance or more.
That bonus is for slots and keno only, but if you are a table games player, there is a sign up bonus of 190% for up to $1,900 (Code: NEW190) for players of many other games. It also carries a 5x rollover, but 30x for blackjack and video poker.
Keep in mind that roulette, craps, baccarat, Sic Bo, Pontoon and Pai Gow do not apply to any bonuses here at all.
There are also a number of regular and special bonus offers, some up to 300% matches when we were there.
Make sure to read both the bonus terms, which you will find with each offer, and the casino’s general terms and conditions.
The Slots of Vegas VIP program requires you to deposit at least $500 (the more, the higher level), and gets you a shot at all sorts of cash back goodies.
Games and Software
This casino has a good selection of games from one of the gaming software pioneers, RealTime Gaming. We couldn’t count the games, because the way they display them makes it hard to browse. Slots of Vegas puts the number at 140, and we’ll go along with that, from what we could see. And they have more than slots.
You can download the casino or load the games through instant play. They are available to play for free, but you have to be registered and signed in to play.
Slots make up the majority of games, and there are plenty of game types to choose from. An assortment of themes, 3- and 5-wheel slots, and multiple paylines are in the mix. Some of the titles you may find include Field of Green, Football Frenzy, The Three Stooges, and Crazy Vegas.
Slots of Vegas has plenty of other types of casino games on board as well. You can find various versions of blackjack, along with other favorites such as roulette, baccarat, craps, War and Pontoon.
There is also a full collection of video poker games, including the popular Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, and various bonus versions.
Their specialty games include bingo and a number of scratch cards.
Slots of Vegas had no live dealer section when we were there.
Most of the PC games are also available in Slots of Vegas mobile casino. You can use the browser on your iPhone, Android or e-tablet to go to Slots of Vegas and play the games using the same account you use for desktop. All of the games are in instant play, and we recommend that you try them out if you plan on playing by mobile frequently.
Provably Fair Games
Slots of Vegas Casino has no provably fair tool with its games. They display a certification stamp from Gaming Labs International, and they boast testing through the RealTime Gaming people. All of this is supposed to assure players that they are getting fair return to player (RTP) percentages with all of the games. We saw no substantial complaints about fairness in forums.
There are a number of ways to get help and answers at Slots of Vegas. The FAQ, found in a dropdown at the bottom of the main page, covers many basic questions. There is also a blog section with a wealth of information.
If you click on Contact Us at the top of the page, you will get a toll free phone number for players from the USA and Canada. 24/7 live chat is available to registered members.
They also have a thing called Central Disputes System to take challenges on winnings or money claims. We’re not sure about its effectiveness.
The appealing bonus requirement of 5x wagering is certainly eye-catching. The game selection is pretty strong too.
But we’ve seen enough red flags about withdrawing money from this site to make us wary. The Central Disputes System may have been employed to correct this situation, and it may improve things in the future.
Take a look at Slots of Vegas and give it a try if you like. But we wouldn’t advise pumping a lot of money into this casino.
